So I received these not too long ago, about a week ago. The first day (hour) I wore them I was SO excited because I’ve been wanting a nice pair of Crocs for myself for a long, long time. I’ve been wearing the same shoes in summer for the last 4 years and figured I’d treat myself.On said first day of wearing them, I was walking down my front porch steps with a big bulky stool, and forgot that I wasn’t wearing my trusty worn in sandals. Because of the platform I was taller than usual and missed the second step- *DOWN* I went, almost smashing into my toddler. Thankfully she was just out of the way, but the sidewalk sure was not. I fell onto the left shoe at just the right angle on the edge and heard/felt a loud *pop*. A trip to the ER and lots of pain led to a badly sprained ankle.And honestly, they were so comfortable and cute in the first hour I wore them that as soon as I can fit my swollen foot into them again, I’ll be wearing them constantly.Just be mindful that they are lightweight, and may cause you to trip if you don’t pay attention- Especially if they are your first pair! Leaning onto the sides at all isn’t met with much resistance, so be mindful if that’s something you do in other shoes. Only rating 4 stars considering the fact that I have now spoken to a few people who have found themselves in similar pickles.
