I got one size larger than my shoe size. It's slightly big but fits more comfy on me. I had also gotten my shoe size and that fits tight... not comfy. So I kept the larger shoe size. The only issue with both sizes (when walking around the house to test) is that when walking around, the front of the top rim rubs against my leg... others have posted pics of their skin rubbed raw and I can see how it can happen. My skin hasn't gotten rubbed bleeding raw... but more scabby raw, when worn for hours at the farm. I tuck my pants in to help and it significantly helps. I can still feel the top rim of the boot rubbing my leg every time I walk, but it doesn't leave me with a scabby sun burn looking mark as opposed to wearing the pants over the boots. The ankle part of the boot also isn't super narrow like the other rain boot that Crocs sells (I think it's called Jaunty... has round holes on the sides to help u pull them up).order 1 size up. most of the other reviews suggested ordering a size larger so i did & it's a VERY good thing i did. the larger size fits perfectly. otherwise these are great. the 1st day i wore them the outside world was a sheet of ice and i didn't slip or slide once. then, i stood watching a concert for about 2 hours & my feet felt great afterwards. i can pop them on & off without much effort but they never feel loose or like they'll fall off. totally waterproof and my feet never felt cold. i luv crocs, all of my shoes are crocs & these do not disappoint.I have a wide calf and a wide foot, this boot fits me well and is easy to slide my foot into. I ordered a size up [ordered a 9 when I wear an 8 c/d ]. I was surprised to see my wide calf actually fits into this boot without discomfort.Keeps my feet dry too. I have worn these to work outside fora few hours at a time. Overall, my feet are okay. I have broken arches so... they hurt with most shoes and boots. I have to admit I am surprised I can wear these 3-4 hours without feeling like I am walking on bloody stumps! So I am very pleased with these boots and would recommend them.I bought these for two purposes - yard work and walking my dog in the park on rainy days - they work well for both things, fit well and my feet stay dry - easy to slip on....4 stars because the ridge at the top can be uncomfortable pressing into the leg when walking - but I cannot think of another way for them to have been made - overall, I love themGreat boots for working in the garden when it's muddy. Hose them off and you are all set ! My only complaint is that you definitely need to wear high socks with these. Otherwise, the backs of your calves get chafed within a few minutes of walking in these. The top of the boot is stiff and not very pliable. Am thinking of making a cuff with fleece fabric to fold down over the top to soften the feel.....After reading other reviews, i ordered my Crocs a size too large hoping they would fit well. I have room to add a fairly thick pair of socks. If rain boots weren't made of rubber that causes them not to breathe, i could easily wear these all day. However, all rain boots make my feet sweat; therefore, i wear them while i'm outside and take them off inside. Love these boots and may order another pair in yellow.Very comfortable & light weight Rain Boots.Based on previous ordering of Crocs Rain Boots and reviews here, I ordered 2 sizes larger than I usually wear in Crocs clogs. I usually order men's 11 Crocs clogs so ordered men's 13 in theses boots. The result is these boots have a roomy fit and are easy to put on and remove. Just what I wanted.I wear Crocs ALL the time. I wear W8/9 in every day crocs and W9 in my "dress crocs", so I ordered the W9 and they were too small. I loved everything else about them. The height is perfect for working in the garden and wide enough to fit over my muscular calves. I am returning and getting the next size up.Having worn them a number of times I cannot stop the rim rubbing and I now have painful sores on both shins. It is the small unnecessary internal rim that is causing the problem. A design fault I fear. I would ask for my money back if that were possible. I think they are going to have to be binned. Very disappoimted.Regarding size. When ordering I was advised that Crocs had changed their sizing and I should err on the small size. As I have oyther crocs at 8 and my last boots were rather loose at 9 I went for 8. Yes they are slightly small but not uncomfortabley so. In the long term this would not of been a problem. This pair of wellies is one of my best ever purchases. I am a wide size 4 with bunions; I bought a size 5 and they fit really well with a thin sock. They are one of the comfiest pair of wellies, boots, or shoes I have ever had. They are very light weight, fairly easy to get on and off, and I would highly recommend them.Easy to get on and off, keeps feet dry and comfortable. Crocs wellies are the only ones I can walk any distance in, and although they sweat a bit that is a minor consideration when rated against their comfort. Do need a size bigger than normal, had already tried on so new this.I'm not sure that I would have gone for the next size up,( as a lot of other revues suggested) the size 4 fits foot but not able to get a thick woolen sock on boot then becomes too tight, very ridged on calf so only time will tell if it will soften. Not much room to tuck jeans into so leggings are better for me.Lovely and light as expected from crocs. After reading other reviews I bought a size 9 when my normal size is 7, and they fit well. A colleague tried them on and found them too narrow, but they are perfect for me. Comfortable and with better grip on the soles than Croc clogs. They also do not aggravate a painful ankle as all my other boots do. Very pleased. And great value!
