Absolutely love these. They are comfortable and durable, the arch support is awesome because I flat-footed. I wore them to Disneyland for 12 hours and my feet did not hurt at all. Super cute with the jewels I do recommend wearing them with socks because your feet do get a hot. Overall fit was great . Totally recommend these. My foot Dr recommended these post foot surgery so I gave them a try.Do I love how they look? No, I'm a woman with big feet so they look big and clunky.Do I like how they feel? Definite yes? They are easy to get on and offThey accommodate the swelling in my left foot while still fitting fine on my right. The arch support is very nice and you can wear them with or without the heel strap. I do use it.Use product for taking showers.Okay, so, let me get this review started off by saying I hate the way the original crocs look. I know, I know, so do a lot of people, but I really hate the way they look. I have always had large feet for a woman (10/10.5), so I really don’t like shoes that emphasize the fact that I am walking around with feet that could double as water skis at a moment’s notice. As many of you have observed, these shoes are not very good at minimizing the appearance of the size of feet they are on.Okay, so now that I have my fussing out of the way, I love my crocs. To the point where if my house was on fire and I could save one pair of shoes, I would save my crocs.I was first introduced to crocs when I was 20 after I developed an almost crippling case of plantar fasciitis due to working a retail job where I wore heels on hard tiled floor for 10+ hours, 5-6 days a week. I could barely walk without being in excruciating pain. Not fun. I went to see a podiatrist who didn’t do any of the useful things most would have done like offering the night splints or anything like that. He said that I could do a series of injections in my feet, which sounded oh-so appealing, or I could do some stretches, stay off my feet as much as possible, and try wearing crocs whenever I could. I took option b. I started wearing my crocs from the moment that I got up, until I had to go to work, where I now had a doctor’s note saying that I had to have comfortable, flat shoes. I didn’t wear the crocs to work, that would have been pushing it, but I did wear the most comfortable shoes I could without making my department manager’s eye twitch when she looked at them. Then, as soon as I got home, I would take them off, and put my crocs back on. The pain lessened almost immediately, and while it was a combination of keeping off my feet, the stretches, and the crocs, the shoes were definitely the most important factor. They helped so much that I wore them outside of the house while running errands. Within a month, the pain had gone from an all-day, all-consuming factor, to something bothered me for only one hour after waking. After two months, I didn’t even need to wear them anymore, so I stopped.Fast-forward five and a half years and I am pregnant with my first child and the crocs came out yet again. They were my best friends during the second and third trimester and I haven’t put them up since. For some reason, probably partially due to the way I sleep, which allows my muscles in my calves and ankles to tense up really well, I have had a mild problem ever since having my daughter. It isn’t debilitating like the first time, it only hurts for about 10 minutes when I first get up in the morning and I am stretching my muscles out, but I wear my crocs at all times when I am in the house. My husband, whom I met after my first experience with crocs teased me about them quite a lot. He is European and thinks that crocs are some bizarre American fashion statement and had an excellent time laughing at them. But he also has a job where he is on his feet all day, and a month ago he started showing symptoms of plantar fasciitis. I gave him my crocs to wear around the house, remember, I have giant feet, and they went up a size due to my pregnancy to boot (11) , and he has wears a 10.5 in men’s shoes, so while mine were a little tight, they were comfortable enough. He stopped giving me any grief after he spent a few days clomping around the house in my bright purple crocs. After I peeled myself off the floor after a very satisfying guffaw I got him to admit that they were really helping and that he didn’t want to walk around without them anymore. Victory is mine! So, because I wanted me crocs back, guess what he got for Christmas? A lovely pair of plain, black crocs all his own. Now, I’m not a doctor or nurse of any kind, but I can tell that these have really helped my husband and I ease the pain from, and in my earlier case eliminate, a painful condition. Are they pretty? No. Have they worked for us? Yes.I have a pair of size Women's 11 crocs right now and they are perfect for walking around the house, but they are a bit loose, I wouldn't want to try to sprint in them. I have wide feet, and they are perfectly roomy, not tight at all.I bought my husband a Men's size 10, he usually wears a 10.5, and they are a little roomy for him as well, but not to the point where it is an issue. So, judging from my experience, these run a little large and wider than average.I know why you wear crocks with socks. there are little nubbins on the bottom. Kinda hurt the first couple of days. Put socks on and there wasn't a problem. A couple of days later they wore down, feels like a little massage now.A birthday gift for my brother…and he loves them!Crocs were a little big but are really comfortableI’ve never owned Crocs but decide to give them a go, after all they seem to be the de facto footwear for medical staff. I needed something to slip on when going down the garden or paddling about in ponds and rivers. I purchased size 9, my normal shoe size. They seem to be on the large side width wise, but they do what I need them for. They are simple to put on, don’t slip off, even when driving, they are great for paddling. They certainly aren’t a fashion accessory, but they are practical. They really should sort out the sizing. After reading the (mixed) reviews on sizing, I decided to go with American sizing that i knew and ordered accordingly. The fit was as my usual shoe fit, but too snug for Crocs, no more slumming about in bedsocked-feet shoved into my crocs. Apart from that, the usual crocs quality and colour and I hope they will last as long as my previous pair. They have changed the shape and feel of Classic Crocs which I think is a shame. I prefer the rounded wide front and squishiness of my old style crocs, these are considerably narrower at the front. I'm sure they have done this to try and make them less disagreeable to the anti-croccers, but actually they look more silly in their new slimline shape. They are also firmer- I preferred them soft.Size description could be better, my shoe size is 8.5 or 9 depending upon brand. I also have arthritis in my right foot which makes sizing awkward. I originally tried size 9 in these but they were way too big, size 8 was better for me, smaller foot is a little loose but not unmanageable.Croc's, dunno why they call 'em that, but hey their good. They don't smell their loose on your feet but still grip even if they are a size too big, but thats what all the other reviewers said, and i'm glad i took their advise to get one size bigger cos looser the better. They are so light on your feet you wouldn't know you got 'em on, they've got a patterned surface on the inside of the sole that feels a bit rough to start with bit after a time you get used to it and it kinda massages ya feet.Your feet do sweat a bit but with the holes all over the croc the air kinda cools ya feet.Yer they do look a bit ungainly like the typical clodhoppers of old and its a bit weird going out in 'em when you first get ya crocs, but take my word they are really comfortable. A mate of mine wore em when they first came out and they looked weird and he's a fashion guru, but i can see now why he wore em.Their made of some sort of hard polystyrene and the strap can either be used for the front for slip-ons or the the back to hold 'em on, even with the strap down to the shoe they don't flip off.Happy? yes well happy, for the price of 'em its good value and for comfort.
