UPDATE 9/2022: I bought these again! This time, I bought size 9 men instead of 10. I took my old 10s that I shrunk and measured them... they're about the same. So, if you're like a size 9.9 foot... with the extra room crocs provide and the heelspace. I would honestly do a size lower. And on top of it all? In the heat and all the time my feet are gonna be sweating in these babies, they're gonna fit even more like a glove in a couple of weeks. So, that's that ?Also? I'm glad my review helps ya'll. I love these shoes and they're just easier and cheaper to buy off amazon. My 10s only lasted 3 months and still have some time in them, the strap is about to break offl only because of my shrinking of my 10s from all the heat from a blow dryer. So the 9s fitting pretty perfectly on my foot, I'll have to see how long they go with my next review next time I buy these again!//May 2022: So, I bought these and was in the midst of severe knee pain from working out, running around at work, and biking due to my old shoes failing on me. My knees felt like absolute hell that week, I resorted to buying these. They seemed perfect and comfortable, but I had to break them in. A week later, I figured the extra space was as bit much. So, what I did was blow dry them with my hair dryer. Now, they fit perfectly and the only time my feet/knees/back hurt is when I'm at the very end hours of my work week when I know I need rest.If you do need to shrink them, look up a youtube video on what to do, even if you shrink them too much, honestly the more you wear it it'll break in/around your foot and mold to it. Which is nice. I've had them for almost two months now and I'm going to definitely buy another pair.I wouldn't say buy a size smaller just because of this because I bought true to my size (10M). If you're buying on the crocs website, they sometimes offer different fun styles for this shoe (bistro clog), so check it out! I just stuck with solid black because that's the type of person I am.Pros: They're amazing and I have not fallen or slipped at work unless someone spilled heavy whipping cream on the ground (update and correction: I have never fallen or slipped badly, just had a few "woahhh now these are non-slip, why'd I slip?.. oh there's heavy cream on the ground. okay.")The sweetest con: They're ugly mario brother clown shoes that get sweaty after 8 hours of summer wear ??Everyone at my job was wearing crocs and I thought it was a trend until I got some myself. I bought these to replace a pair of waterproof, slip resistant work shoes that lasted a few months on the job before falling apart. I was specifically looking for black, slip resistant and waterproof as my working conditions are extremely slippery and my feet get so dirty that I need to rinse my shoes at end of every shift. I chose these due to the price point and reviews. These are EXTREMELY light weight and feel like clouds and offer enough cushion support that I don’t feel tired after being on my feet all day. I can blast them with a hose at the end of my shifts and unlike other shoes, I don’t have to worry about them being damp the next time I put them on. The slip-resistant bottom is adequate and superior to other slip-resistant outsoles I’ve tried in the past.If you are already a lover of crocs and want some for work, buy these! If you are not yet a lover of crocs, this will turn you into one. I’ve since purchased a pair of regular croc clogs that I can wear outside of work because the comfort is unmatched.I bought these in my regular shoe size and they are about 1 size too large which is in-line with what the size chart says. 4/6 was the smallest size in the color I needed so I risked it and ordered anyways, expecting them to be a bit large. So far it has not been an issue at all. There are grips on be inside of the shoe to keep your foot from sliding back and forth. I wear them in ‘sport mode’ at work and can’t even tell they are too large. The extra room is unexpectedly preferred— it makes them easy to put on and take off, increases airflow to my feet, and doesn’t rub against my foot to cause irritation.I have not have them long enough to comment on the longevity but the low price was worth the risk for me. These shoes seem like they can handle some abuse but I will update this review later to remark on their performance.I had never had a pair of crocs before. I’m a sandals type, but apparently even those very expensive German made, expensive yet “ugly as sin” sandals are offensive to most females. After much research and consultation ( I asked my friend Brenna) Crocs were considered less offensive than those expensive “ jerk and rock” sandals. Sure, since I purchased the white ones I kinda look like Poppa Smurf in them but…I’m ok with that. They really are comfortable. Mine unfortunately were slightly too large (the fit varies with style and where they are made). Much like my old soul, after a day at the beach in the sun, they fit much better. The heat will shrink them if you need them to fit smaller. If you find that your personal footwear choices are repulsive to some I suggest a pair of Crocs. They also have these cute little buttons now if your into the whole “personalization” thing.Had these for a little over a month now. I'm a size 10.5. I ordered 11's. They looked like "clown shoes" on me at first. HOWEVER, I stuffed these shoes with TWO sets of orthotics. Now they fit perfectly and there's no issues. I'm a bartender/waiter/cook/dishwasher (the place where I work is a one-man show; super small), and my clumsy self ain't slippin' on anything. No grease slips, no water slips, no loose lettuce on the floor slips, and no walking on a small chunk of ice cube slips. My feet hurt WAYYYYY less after work, and WITH the orthotics (for me...wide foot), these shoes are perfect for this line of work. Before the orthotics, it was so-so...but better than those cheap croc knock-off's you get at Walmart for basically the same price. My add-on insoles add so much but they slide around a bit. However, the fact that I don't have a fraction of the foot pain I used to....makes it worth it.It's with great sadness and happiness that I write this review.I bought these awful shoes for my wife. She's currently working in intensive care looking after Covid-19 patients. The hospital where she works doesn't have enough to supply the staff so they use a communal box of them. The very thought of my wife risking her life on a daily basis wearing shoes that someone else had been wearing for 12 hours previously was not a pleasant one.She came home from work and told me about this sharing of these Croc things, before she'd finished telling me (and believe it or not, she never once complained, she was just explaining how it was) I'd ordered her some.Delivery took a day or two longer than normal but that was to be expected, at the time of writing this we are all still in lockdown, thus no shops are open, so everyone is heavily reliant on home deliveries. They eventually arrived and thankfully were a perfect fit. I cannot begin to understand some of the horrific things she is dealing with on a day to day basis in that hosptial but at least I know she's wearing new, clean and personal shoes whilst she does it. Even if I do think they're the most hideous footwear I've ever seen.Great quality @ a great price, but note potential sizing issues …I ordered two differently sized pairs, and both were close to one size too large. This appears to be due to the size conversion table used by Crocs (see photo). For example, one pair’s soles were quoted in US size 13, which Crocs convert to UK size 12 (should read 12.5 instead) and EU size 48-49 (should read 47 instead – see second photo for details)The sizing issue could furthermore be linked to the following note on Crocs’ conversion table:PLEASE NOTE: From January 2015 Crocs changed sizing for men, reducing all men's sizes by 1. If you have purchased men's Crocs before January 2015, please order one size smaller when making your next purchase (for example, a male customer who previously fit a size 10 will now fit a size 9). Sole sizes are US. Label shows UK. M = Men's W = Women'sMaybe I received old stock?Comfy as expected and I know the ladies have to stop and look when I rock em. Bought the ones with the flames and I swear I get everywhere faster compared to other shoes. Love themThis ‘Bistro’ croc design is distinguished from the Cayman by:• Having no holes or side-vents, which make them great for gardening or workshop use• The clog is moulded with a heel-stop to make it more like a shoe than a slide-in slide-out sandal so always better to use the retaining straps• The fitting is a bit narrower than the Cayman and is less suitable for people with wider feet, even more so because the Bistro is a bit more rigidThe sizing issues common with crocs sold online remain however. The advertised size is usually one size too large, so if you normally wear a UK 9, then don’t order size 9, order size 8 and it will fit. This is because of the international sizing conversion table used by Crocs, which they still haven’t got right.Great choice of colours BTW, but it’s rare for online suppliers to have every colour in stock in every size.
