Inspired by vintage sneaker style Crocs, Inc. is a rapidly growing designer, manufacturer and retailer of footwear for men, women and children under the crocs brand. All crocs brand shoes feature crocs' proprietary closed-cell resin, Croslite, which represents a substantial innovation in footwear. The Croslite material enables crocs to produce soft, comfortable, lightweight, superior-gripping, non-marking and odor-resistant shoes. These unique elements make crocs ideal for casual wear, as well as for professional and recreational uses such as boating, hiking, hospitality and gardening. The versatile use of the material has enabled crocs to successfully market its products to a broad range of consumers.
I have a pair of classic CROCS for dog walking that stay by the front door. They are easy to slip on and off and are muck and weather proof. The vent holes all over the classic keep my feet cool but also let rain and dew in so my feet were often cold and wet. I tried the crocs Unisex CitiLane Clog in Wild Orchid/Stucco because the style lacks the vent holes around the sole of the shoe. My feet stayed dry on early morning walks. Without the extra vent holes my feet also got hot during our midday walk on an 80 F degree dayI wear US 8.5, medium width women's shoe. Crocs do not come in half sizes and are always too long and too wide for my foot. This shoe is not as wide as the classic croc but is still wider than one would expect for a medium width shoe. Still it serves a purpose and is not uncomfortable. I choose not to use the strap. I'm always aware of the ankle strap, do not need it to keep the shoe on my foot and prefer to wear them as slides. The strap is not adjustable and does not go the full length of the shoe. It looks too short for someone who is a the top end of the size range. The strap was not uncomfortable for me.The only issue I had that kept this from being a 5-star review was the color of the shoes I received was not as pictured. What I got was deep hot pink/fuchsia.The color is bright and pretty, just not everyone's cup of tea. The shoes were labeled "wild orchid/stucco." The color in the picture on my laptop, phone and tablet looked lavender/lilac, in other words a light purple. The wild orchid was the least expensive color in this style during the daily deal sale. I happen to like pink, ordered based on price so the difference in color did not matter. It might to some..Quality: ExcellentValue: Good (better than mall prices)Pros: Easy on and off, comfortable for short periodsCons: Not the best for a whole day of use if you're on your feet all dayThese are just a variation on your typical Crocs, with a slightly different finish to them. Kind of cute, I think. I ordered them in blue for something different, and because the blue was a good price at the time. However, I made a mistake when selecting them. I needed a men's size 13, so I ordered the one that said 13(M), but it turned out to mean "medium", so what I got was a men's 11/womens 13. I need to return them now, but they are a nice pair of shoes. I will consider reordering them if the price goes lower on the size I need.Crocs are so handy for running out for the mail or going out into the garden, even for running to the store. Lots of athletes (high school especially) are using them for after-sports shoes. It just depends on how you feel about them. They seem to be a love-or-hate item, with nothing in between! You can't deny that they're super convenient and handy if you can get over the Croc stigma. If you've never tried Crocs before, you can really start with any pair. Just look for the color you want and a style you like, then give it a shot! If you're a Croc veteran/collector, these won't disappoint you.I'm impressed with many of the prices on here. The store at the mall can't even come close to some of them, except in the clearance bin. This is nice, because you can pretty easily find the color you like.I hope you found this review helpful.Lots of nice features, but not as comfortable as the classic Croc. The built up sole looks nice and provides a little extra height. There are no side vents, so feet stay dry when walking in rainy weather. The main feature I like is the elastic on the vamp. It has just enough stretch to keep the shoes comfortable if my feet swell. What I didn't like: They needed a little breaking in. Most of the clog type Crocs don't. The side of the shoe at the arch where the strap attaches rubbed for the first day. My little toes rub, but this has gotten better as the shoe is molding to my foot. My feet sweat a bit more in these since it is a closer fit, but at least the shoes don't retain the smell. The overall shape of the shoe is sleeker when viewed from above. The toe box is rounded instead of the fanned out toe area of the classic. I wish the Crocs company would make the top cutouts in a prettier pattern, the way they do on the flats. After 8 years my old 'classic' Crocs were showing their age and the grips had worn out on the soles. So, I decided 'damn the expense' and to invest in a new pair. I chose these as they were reportedly less clunky and I liked the 2-tone effect with the white soles and elastic. However, I was a tad nervous as regards fit.Well, no worries in that regard! Whilst being narrower, I have found them to be a perfect fit both for bare feet and when wearing thick socks. They are also very comfortable. I think that once you get used to wearing Crocs, there is nothing more comfortable. These are great as slippers and for pottering around the garden. My only question would be their longevity - and in particular the elastic gussets. Time will tell and in the meantime, I am very pleased. Please don't buy this crap. Today because of a little rain the outersole has came out and now it looms so bad. Even after paying this much we are getting a low quality cheap product. Shame on you amazon you allow this kind of sellers to cheat us. My money is wasted totally.I already own several pair of these and purchased these during a sale ready for when my old ones run done and it well looked after and maintained could last many of a year (personally mine are already over 8 years old and still wearing well), perfect for keeping feet warm that during the cold wintery days find I can wear without socks, clean with anti bacterial wipes inside each day to prevent bad odour and buffer occasionally with "Crocs Unisex-Adults' Butter Shoe Treatments and Polishes " that can also be purchased on amazon and these crocs should wear you well. These shoes were not the same as other crocs , despite the size and model printed stated, they were a lot smaller than my last pair . And they seemed to made of a harder plastic . I did not realise until well after I had bought them , I put them away in their packaging and did not try them on til recently so too late to return . Maybe it was a one off , they seemed to be genuine , but measured against my old citilane crocs they are 2 cm smallerReceived within 48 hours. Usually have size 6 classic croc but ordered 7 this time. Be advised these Citilane 7 are exactly same length as Cayman 6 but snugger across toes. Lovely colour now have to wear them to see how they feel. Should add that these are my 23rd pair of crocs so I know em.
